This screen is designed for sites that use part traceability and is designed to be a more efficient process to issue lots to a work order as material requirements. The staging functionality allows you to allocate your lots to a specific work order in advance of the actual issuing process.

In standard Visual® Enterprise there is a period in between when materials are issued to a job to when they are received in as finished goods where there is no way to keep track of where the WIP components are in inventory (short of a work order setup that receives components into inventory and issues to a new job throughout the manufacturing process). In order to help address this we have developed the WIP Location Application which allows for 'Containers' to be created that are associated with inventory locations and can be moved from operation to operation.
