SaberLogic Becomes a Reseller of Mozy’s Remote Backup
Wadsworth, OH (PR Buzz) February 23, 2010 -- SaberLogic formally announces that they have established a reseller relationship with Mozy to provide corporate customers with secure, remote, automated online backup services.
Corporate backups were one of the primary IT administrative areas that SaberLogic found to be consistently confusing and cumbersome for clients. Backup management software was often “buggy,” especially with different hardware and operating system configurations. Most basic tape backup systems required that someone at each customer location physically switch tapes daily and carry the backup tapes off-site each night. SaberLogic also found that users were failing to copy critical data to corporate servers. Instead, these files were being stored locally on a user’s PC or Mac, which was not being properly backed up. After numerous customer inquiries, SaberLogic selected Mozy as a simple solution to allow their clients to easily perform backups without any user interaction.
Mozy’s backup solution provides automated remote backup services right over the Internet. The Mozy software client is loaded onto each system and then the software is configured to back up certain file types and directories. The backups can be set up to run automatically when the system is not in use or can set to run on a defined schedule. SaberLogic also notes that the speed at which the backup transfer will occur can be throttled up or down to reduce the performance impact on your system and the overall network. Alerts are sent whenever backups fail or when size quotas are reached. Mozy uses strict security policies, 448-bit Blowfish encryption, and world-class SAS70 certified data centers to protect corporate data.

SaberLogic Releases EDI Integrator for Infor ERP VISUAL
SaberLogic has released a new EDI tool for Infor ERP VISUAL / Visual Enterprise. EDI Integrator provides Visual Enterprise users with a powerful alternative to the VMDI interface for EDI transactions (both inbound and outbound). Transactions can be reviewed, optionally edited, and approved / rejected individually or in batch using our EDI Dashboard module. Seamless integration with Visual ensures absolutely no duplicate data entry is necessary and that all transactions are performed with the same business logic validations as the standard Visual client.
SaberLogic’s EDI Integrator for Visual Enterprise provides a number of features that VDMI does not have including support for any EDI document, supports decision tree logic based on the EDI data, interactive dashboard mode allowing for approval / denial of transactions by staff, transaction data edits in a graphical environment (Dashboard), transactions with invalid data presented graphically with ability to re-process after invalid data has been corrected, archived transaction viewer and custom logic to suit your company's needs.

Apple Macintosh Technician Certification
SaberLogic is pleased to announce that Justin Lyons has successfully completed testing to become an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician. According to the Apple website, “Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification verifies the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repair of both desktop and portable Macintosh systems, such as iMac MacBook Pro. ACMT certification exams emphasize identifying and resolving common OS X problems, and using Apple Service and Support products and practices to effectively repair Apple hardware.”

Justin is one of the primary members of SaberLogic who will be providing technical and consulting services for Apple’s Mac products to the Cleveland, Akron and Canton Ohio markets.
